About Joi’

A Southside Chicago girl, who currently calls Philadelphia home, Joi’ C. Weathers is a 14+ year Advertising creative, running culturally-centered programming for some of the world’s biggest companies. She also is the founder of Joi Has Questions, a thriving social media brand.

Through combining her professional pursuits with her passions, she is a living testimony that you can be stylish and intelligent- and there’s no shame in either. The method to her madness works, as proven through her Cannes, Emmy, and ADC award winning work.

By developing both aspects of her creativity, Joi’ is sought after for her cultural and strategic insights, content curation, and successful ad campaigns, which have impacted millions. She's worked alongside some of the industry's most respected leaders and brands, assisting them in making meaningful branded work that resonates with their core audience and accomplishes their strategic goals.

In addition to her professional pursuits, her personal brand Joi Has Questions leverages her love of fashion to disarm and her passion for Black History to educate, fostering a safe space to learn about the African Diaspora, one fashionable video at a time. With her charismatic and lighthearted approach on camera, her brand has helped her evolve her creativity to being a content creator, influencer, and successful podcaster, always poised to inspire her audience to greatness. 

Always pushing herself to new creative heights, Joi’ is currently pursuing her MFA, Creative Writing at Temple University, slated to graduate Spring 2025.

Joi’s story is one of perseverance, passion, and appreciation for the talents she’s been blessed to share with the world. She is a testament that making people “feel” supersedes any metric you could ever chase.
