As this program was created in response to building consumer trust with the Black Diaspora, more specifically the African American community, We The Culture focused on supporting over 120 Black content creators across the FOA’s, (family of apps), providing resources, professional tools, engaging networking events, content to showcase the bevy of talent found from innovative content creators and influencers.
The nuclear insight being: how do we authentically show up for up for the Black community, without seeming performative in nature? The answer was committing to the development of the the WTC inaugural class, by offering financial support as well as creative direction.
The following content examples is a combination of the 1st and 2nd WTC classes, where we let the creators tell their own stories and why they feel their artistry is needed.
Basically, we let them create and got out of their way and the end result was magic!
